Weesleekit was formed by Steve Kirkpatrick and run as MD for 17 years from Moffat and Dumfries. The Weesleekit brand developed from a traditional graphic design company, embracing digital solutions and interpretation to become a leading creative agency in the south of Scotland.

The name derives from the Robert Burns poem “To a Mouse, on Turning Her Up in Her Nest with the Plough”. Robert Burns spent much of his life in the Dumfries area, writing the poem as well as “Auld Lang Syne” at Ellisland Farm just outside Dumfries. Robert Burns is a local, national and international brand.

Weesleekit was sold to the BDS group in 2010 and is now integrated into their main brand, BDS.
