Having designed D&G’s Council corporate website, they required their intranet to be designed, but with a completely different design approach.

The brand identity of “connect” is composed from 3 directional arrows, which emanate from the letterform “c”. The idea of 3 areas continues on the intranet, where council workers can access areas of ‘breaktime’, ‘your desk’ and ‘to work’. With a staff of over 3000 employees accessing the system on a daily basis the approach was to allow staff to access personal areas during their break time and maximise on productivity, whilst having ownership and pride in being able to personalise their own home screen and widgets.
